Rebekah has been a friend for many, many years. She is a wild crazy girl and a kindred spirit. She works as a professional hair dresser in Western, MA and has also worked as a hairstylist, make up artist and model for MyOwnBrain Productions. In addition she did some voice over work AND appeared as an actress in "Eureka," a film by Kristen DeLuca. I’m currently trying to convince her to model for BellaVendetta.com, so maybe if you all email her and tell her how drop dead gorgeous she is she’ll feel inclined to do a little nude modeling. Anyhow: Rebekah is able to pull off many different looks and she is by far my most favorite custom client. She enjoys skydiving, mixing exotic drinks, mountain climbing, yoga, and lighting things on fire. She also has a severe shoe fetish, so if you’d like to send her some gifts I can let you know her shoe size...
Late one night when I was living in upstate NY I decided to make the trek to Rebekah’s house for one of her infamous dress up parties. The evening was full of debauchery as usual, and upon my exit Becky stopped me and said she had a new project for me. She went over to her window and ripped off her curtains. They were this lush, vintage gold velvet and absolutely hideous, but she was convinced I could make them into something lovely.
I think I did a pretty good job if I do say so myself! Definitely one of my most favorite pieces I’ve ever created. I worked on it for a very long time until it was exactly the way I wanted it. I brought the finished product over to Becky’s house for a fitting and it looked absolutely stunning on her. But there was something missing! I sat down in her super comfy chair to think about it. Lo and behold: the chair was covered with the same fabric that the dress was made of--just a different color!
I ripped the chair covering off and went to work making a cape to go over the whole ensemble. So, here we have the finished product, which consists of four pieces: a hoop skirt with a bustle underneath, the snakeskin underskirt, the main gown, and the cape. I think all can agree it is an absolutely stunning piece.

As I’ve said before, Becky can look good in ANYTHING! And anything goes was exactly the inspiration for this skirt! I took swatches of fabric that all had special meaning to me, old dresses, pieces of plastic, favorite hankies etc etc, and the finishing touch was a myriad of old vintage zippers I came across at a second hand store. Definitely one of my more unique pieces, not just anybody could pull this style off!
One day Rebekah was said because her mean boyfriend made her feel bad. So I took it upon myself to cheer her up with a very special underbrush camo skirt. Its puffy and flowy and gathered and doesn’t she look wonderful in it?
