Really, this is how the whole company started. I taught myself how to use a sewing machine and began making clothes when I was about 14. Eventually people liked what I was doing and started asking me to make little custom things for them. I did this for a while until I decided I wanted to make whatever I felt like making and stop taking so many requests. Thus all the collections on this site were born. This section is just a little slice on all my favorite outfits I’ve made for myself over the years.

Makeup artist: Rebekah Frenkel for Glam Kitty Cosmetics
Temptu body art by: Tanya Pinky Goldberg of Medusa tattoo, NYC.
The original photos of this piece were used for a couple different projects. First of all, this was one of the first shoots I did with photographer Patrick Reardon when I deci9ded to redesign the site. I had been holding onto this piece of vintage blue velvet for years and I never knew quit what I was gong to do with it. The costume started with the skirt..and was used in this shoot for Henry Johnson Kustom Korsets, and also for Glam Kitty cosmetics. After the shoot I decided I wanted to rework the outfit and use the rest of the fabric I had left over.
I then added the top and the arm pieces. I did a shoot at Carnegie Hall with photographer Judson Rosebush, but I wasn’t too impressed with the way the shots showed off the outfit. So I found another photographer and another location and did the shoot again.
Which brings us to the second set of images, I am VERY pleased with these. They were taken by photographer Gina Wilk, who is also from my hometown, but we went up in NYC for this set. The outfit shown here can also be found in the shoppe section of BellaVendetta.com.
This is a dress I created for one special evening. I was doing a stage performance with Rites of Passage Suspension group in NYC at Club Show as part of the "Taboo" 2004 NYC Tattoo Convention after party hosted by Paul Booth. More information about the show can be found in the performance section of this site.
During the performance I had the dress cut off me with a straight razor, which of course I had planned, but what I didn’t plan on was the fact that I’d get so sad over the loss of the dress. SO: I stitched it back up and used it for a bloody bride costume when I went to see The legendary Pink Dots and the Dresden Dolls in Boston MA. Before the show I did a quick photo shoot on the street with photographer Miisa Herliczek.Photos: Patrick Reardon

I made this get up when I was a teenager, and I used to wear it to festivals when I would sell my clothing on the streets and as a vendor.
The story behind this photo shoot is kind of sad, actually. I was supposed to have dinner with my boyfriend at the time and I had a photoshoot before dinner. I got Rebekah Frenkel to do my makeup for the shoot and we set off for a day full of photo fun with photographer Patrick Reardon. After the shoot I got all dolled up in a nice dress and was excited about dinner. BUT the lame boyfriend broke up with me before I ever got to the restaurant and I cried and cried and smeared all my lovely makeup and crinkled my nice dress. However, I like to keep the photos as a nice reminder of how content I was a few hours before the dookie hit the fan.

You ever have a beloved shirt that is so ripped up it barely resembles a shirt anymore? Yah, me too. In this case it was my first ever Tank Girl shirt. It was falling apart so I decided to cut out the sub girl logo and sew it onto a tank top I had made. The results can be seen here. Notice my "Proud to be a bgirl" sticker in the background!?

This is a design I had been reworking for a while. I have toyed with the idea of adding it to the Bordello Boutique section, but for now..it’s not for resale. It’s a spandex fitted top that sits low over the hips, and has two metal O rings sewn into it. Use your imagination for their uses... I also wore this top on my debut set for qualitycontrol.cc. This particular set was taken outside of a church in Lenox, Ma.

I origionally made this coset top for my runway show at Webster Hall (see the performance section of this website for more info on that show) But I was a little bit unhappy with the photos because you couldn’t really see the corset in them. So I had Patrick Reardon redo the shoot a few months later on the steps of my favorite church. My ex-boyfriend always claimed I had an "I’m better than you" look on my face in this shoot, but what can I say? This corset makes me feel better than everyone else!

This is a custom corset I made for a suspension performance at Webster Hall. It’s always been one of my favorite pieces, but I never have really had great photos of it, now you can all see what it really looks like, what do you think!?

Style is everything in the world of breakdancing. And I don’t just mean your moves on the dancefloor -- clothes matter a little bit too! I always liked to show up at competitions wearing something a little out of the ordinary, which is why I created this outfit for a fall bgirling competition in 2002.
Photos: Jen Kupiec
I had just started commissioning photographer Jen Kupiec to do some work for both Bella Vendetta and MyOwnBrain. She commented on the fact that I didn’t have any recent headshots, so I went into her studio to snap a few off. In this set I’m wearing a few things that I’ve made. The skirt is made from a vintage piece of ribbed silk with antique ruffles given to me by my great grandmother, Vera. The necklace is a glass bead piece that I made, the beaded bracelets are also M.O.B. creations and The mauve, butterfly wristband is a little custom piece I made for myself when I was sad one day.

This is a gown/overcoat made of satin and lace, I made it so many years ago, but I barely ever wear it out because it’s simply SO much fabric!
Photos: Patrick Reardon
I made this purple satin skirt back in high school, but it is still one of my favorite pieces to wear. A photographer took a few shots while we were just milling about on main street one day.I felt the need to include these because this is the first article of clothing I’ve ever sewn. I didn’t actually make the pants, they were a thrift store find..but I did add the satin flowered inserts up the side. I still have these and they are kind of like an M.O.B. relic so I wanted to add them here.

When I was 22 I sang for a Riot Grrrl punk band out of western MA called RU486. The band was very short lived, but the memory goes on and on. Some of the best times of my life were spent in a basement screaming into a microphone surrounded by my favorite women. That’s all ancient history now, but at least the custom skirt lives on to tell the tale. Custom beaded necklace also by MOB.

I have always had a fetish for pinstripes, and I’ve always had a fetish for mini skirts. So, the next logical step was to put the two together. When I’m feeling especially vampy I like to wear this little number.
