Joanna Angel is an insane, yet terribly savvy business woman living in Brooklyn, NY who also happens to be a pornstar. Joanna owns, runs and is also the star of BurningAngel.com, an intellectual punk rock porn site that just so happens to be one of my favorite smutty websites to visit. I recently got the pleasure of making some custom clothing for a film that Joanna directed for Hustler called "Joanna’s Angels." Here she is showing off in a custom pair of denim and pink leather chaps and a slinky pink spandex ensemble, complete with Joanna’s Angels printed tank top; tank is by none other than bellavendetta.com’s Andrew Flynt. Well, once again things have been busy around here. I’ve thankfully got my luscious little intern, Frankie, working hard for me resizing photos, writing press releases and fetching coffee and mimosas. This month I also received a lovely package in the mail from my good friend Taryn in Vancouver, BC. I had made her a lovely little pink cotton custom skirt with pink ruffled trim and she was kind enough to send me photos. So I am sharing them with you here. Isn’t she such a rockstar?

Twwly is a wonderful, beautiful, multi-talented woman from Canada who’s now living in the States. I’ve had a crush on her since the very first time that I saw her and I always wanted to make her clothes. I have a fetish for girls in pink so it was only fitting that I would make her something pink. She’s shown here wearing a custom vintage velvet pink skirt with antique pink lace ruffles and a rose button detail. She also has a matching pair of crotchless pantaloons. Rosie Streetpixie is a lovely little style diva from Boston, MA. She is also a fellow zinester and punk rock story telling goddess. She also plays a large part in the Beantown Zinetown yearly convention. I’ve had the pleasure of doing several spoken word performances with her and definitely look forward to doing more in the future. I’ve always wanted her to model for the site and I wanted to make her something really retro and rockabilly, and so; she is shown here wearing a vintage polka dot skirt with a matching purse and scarf, and a denim and cotton skirt made from two old bandanas with a bucking bronco print and black fringe detail. Cate is an old friend from the 413 area. She’s currently going to school in Boston and can be found riding her custom bike thru the streets or smoking too many cigarettes and discussing politics outside coffeeshops. Here she is wearing a custom pink leopard print skirt I made her with a slit up the side.

Kaya Severson is a punk rock revolutionary from Pittsfield, MA. Her mother is one of my best friends in the wide world and Kaya is one of the coolest girls I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is ex guitar player for RU486 and she continues playing a wide variety of music with her friends. She has a fetish for pink, just like me, and so: I made her a pair of pink pants out of an old raincoat.

Marina kind of reminds me of a grown up Wednesday Adams. She’s the lead singer of a band from NYC called Dead Emotion. It was my pleasure to make some custom clothing for her. Here she is wearing the Spider Queen shirt in black and a magenta velvet princess shirt with matching arm warmers and a black net skirt...verrrry sexy!

Mother Tink is a fellow fashion designer, go-go dancer and professional Domme in Texas. She has a thing for green, as you can see. This photo was from a runway show we did together in NYC, I made her the ghetto fabulous halter top in lime green leopard print and the princess skirt in white and chartreuse green with silver lining. I think she looks fabulous in it. Don’t you agree?

These are some Rites of Passage curtains I made for two members of the suspension group that live in Brooklyn. They feature pockets to store equiptment with custom ROP logo textiles.
