THE SHOW
The show went very smoothly, for being our first runway show. It almost didn't happen. Mother Tink didn't arrive until about 15 minutes before the show because of car trouble, but she finally arrived and the show got underway.
Shane Savant did a performance which was stunning. And then on stage was St. Eve. I had never heard her sing before and I was much impressed with her voice (and her outfit). Sky of skyvlad.com did a very erotic dance performance next. Sky is always looking fabulous and tonight was no exception.
We had a suspension planned during the show, and didn't think we would be able to pull that off either, but thankfully the Goddess was with us and we were able to set up rigging. I had already been pierced and hooked up to the rigging. Just as Sky's performance was ending Emrys began to hoist me up. No one really noticed I was hanging from flesh hooks until Shane took the mic and directed everyone's attention to me.
The music I had chosen came on ("The Creatures") and I was fully in the air. Just as the beat dropped the first model Rebekah (who sadly we got no pictures of but she can be seen wearing the "Narnia Gown" in the gothic section) came out on stage. After that it was smooth sailing. I was winging and spinning wildly about, and the girls came out one after another, posing for about one minute each. It was very sci-fi, matrix-esque with me kicking around over the model's heads.
The girls were beautiful that night and I'm positive I'm not the only one who thought so. After the show was over I was brought down and we packed up our things and left. We came, we saw, we conquered. And if you missed the show...you REALLY missed out on a once in a lifetime performance. hopefully we will be at future Zenwarp parties.
Keep checking back with this site and also Zenwarp.com for updates.
Special thanks to Shane Savant and Mother Tink!
THE MODELS:
April Jordan is a professional model living in western MA with her fiancé. Sorry boys (and girls!) She can also be seen modeling the "extreme attitude" outfit in the Bgirl section of this site. We will be seeing more of her modeling this summer for some planned photo shoots. She might even be wearing some maternity garb...because April is going to be a mommy! Best of luck April and Steve!
Teresa Collier is a lovely young lady from CT, but she seems to travel around quite a bit. I first met her at Turnpike Tattoo in CT and decided she MUST model for me some day. I'm glad I made that choice because she did wonderful that night. We will most definitely be seeing more of Teresa in the future. Welcome to the MOB family!
Marla DiCarlo is a writer living in Hadley, MA. This was also her first time strutting her stuff in MOB clothing. Her writing can also be found in the publication section of this site. Her newest projekt is "Crafty, Fishy, Horny" which is a compilation between Marla, myself, Skuld, and Kerith Henderson. Definitely give that a look!
Rebekah Frenkel has long been one of my personal favorite models. She is a professional hair stylist from MA, and she's the only one who I let near my hair! She's been a major part of the MOB family for many years now, and hopefully will remain so in the future. She enjoys burning things, smashing stuff and playing with cross bows. She has a very unique look and is a fashion Goddess in her own right.
